Very good, very good indeed. The whole concept of how traditions would evolve nearly parallel with their human creators, is boggling. Especially when one considers all the possibilities, all the variables to all the traditions that differ in nearly every region of the globe?

I won’t eat turkey necks, bologna, chitterlings, liver pudding and most types of sausage…this story really made me think about what I’d have to do in order to survive when all the luxuries are gone. Man, wolves for CHRISTMAS dinner at that…really makes you think…for some people in some places, wolf meat would be a luxury right now without a zombie apocalypse.

I liked the whole looking forward aspect of the story. That one day in the future an activity that was once done for survival might turn into a holiday activity for children much like the origins of the yule log became the modern day Christmas Tree.

Great in the telling and just creepy and sad enough to make to make one think after reading.

Keep writing, you have talent.
