I truly enjoy your writing style, with it's atmosphere of stifling solitude, it's message, and it's conclusion. I admit, the ending kinda sucked (for rufus), but I believe that if you were to use the tape recorder for many stories (different survivors using the recorder) that yo u would be able to expand. I was hooked from beginning to end. The whole idea of staying stealth and not using guns was actually clever too. I just feel sorry for the guy and see it ironic that he dies from the one thing he never thought he would die from. Overall though, truely a great read! Hope to see more of your work! Great story!
