Great Story, I forgot it was a zombie theme with all of the human aspects. I agree with everyone that an anthology or book is a must! One question, (not to poke holes in the story...) Why didn't they take the gun from the Scout? If ammo is at a premium plus would it be wise to have someone shooting out from inside in the midst of a group of revelers?

Please keep writing!

Meh. Proofreading and editting, for me its 75% of the writing process, and the dullest part. However, when its finished, and you are happy, its all worth it.

Thanks Grenade, good eye. Sometimes things slip through the editing process. This was one if them.

i'm not through reading, but i think part 3 could use a little clarification in the dialog. it gets confusing as to whom is saying what. it becomes clear a few more lines in, but then i have to go back and re-read it.

Sweet Like Maple Sugar is my very favorite story on this site, this one was great as well. More please. I would love to hear more about the goat boy and how his life is going.

Well done Jeff! I was so wrapped up in the turmoil of other humans that I completely forgot about the zombie threat. You've created a very colorful community in Pleasant Hollow. I look forward to more.
