TO SUBMIT YOUR POEMS AND STORIES there are a few ground rules. Please read these carefully.
RULE #1: NO STEALING
This site is not meant to be an outlet for plagiarism or illegally derivative works. If your story contains direct or reconizable pieces of previous works, it will be discarded. Do not use characters featured in copyrighted works including (but no limited to): Night of the Living Dead, Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil, 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, or World War Z.
RULE #2: IT'S ALIVE!
Tales of the living can be just as (if not more) compelling than stories of the living dead. Submissions do not have to feature zombies in their narrative at all, so long as the setting is related to the zombie apocalypse.
RULE #3: THIS AIN'T STAR TREK
Please confine story timelines to Earth in the present or immediate future. Some license may be taken with technology - but assuming a zombie apocalypse has taken place, the likelihood of technology advancing rather than regressing is pretty damn slim.
RULE #4: NO VAMPIRES NEED APPLY
Keep story content to zombie apocalpyse-related scenarios only. Other supernatural phenomena may be included, but submissions will not be given consideration for acceptance or prizes based on anything other than zombie apocalypse-related merits.
RULE #5: DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A RASH TO YOU?
The general idea of the zombie apocalypse is that zombies are the result of a virus spread by contact with zombie tissue which kills the subject and reanimates them as a pulseless, mindless cannibal. That said, creative license is not discouraged.
RULE #6: CLEANLINESS AND ALL THAT
Stories which are overtly pornographic or gore-for-gore's-sake with no redeeming merits will likely be discarded out of hand.
Not so bad, eh? Please send your work as an RTF attachment (or if this isn't possible, in the body of an email) to:

along with your name, pseudonym, and any author bio info you'd like to see posted. Please allow 1-2 months for response. Accepted works will be archived on this site for a minimum of one year. Submissions may be previously published or simultaneously submitted, but must be legally available for publishing on this site. A moderate prize will be awarded every 6 months. Due to the volume of submissions, editors of the site do not always offer detailed criticism, but you will receive at minimum a response of acceptance or rejection.
Stories and poems on this site may contain mature language and situations, and may be inappropriate for readers under the age of 18.
