Ah yes; justified and well deserved recognition for two very superior stories by two very superior contributors.
Jeffrey well done. Your very thoughtful tale of a new normality after the zombie apocolypse fully deserved this prize.
Barrett, I thought that this episode of your Jenny series had actually been written by the dog until I went back and read the byline. For me it was your best so far.
I look forward to more from you both.
And just for the record, the trophy actually is a chipped mug. I shudder to think what that thing under Nicks blanket is.

Sorry that I’m just now reading this. I’ve changed jobs lately and have been lax in my writing and keeping up with the site. Thanks everyone for the support. I look forward to reading all of the recent submissions from the other contributers. And by the way, the thing under my blanket is a dog, and his name is Chip.
